So first of all, what is Vevo? Vevo is a premium music video hosting platform owned and founded by Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI.

Official videos from Vevo can be found on platforms such as YouTube, Samsung TVs, Roku, and other such platforms.

So how exactly can you get your music video up on Vevo?

Getting your music video up on Vevo is usually required to do so via a major label, also owned by either Universal, Sony, or Warner Music Group. However, this isn’t always the case for every artist, since that would mean having to go through the trouble of actually getting signed by that major label.

Luckily Vevo has partnered with several companies to make music video distribution on the platform a lot easier for smaller and rising artists.

These include the following:

Vydia- https://vydia.com/

EMPIRE Distribution- https://www.empi.re/

Ditto Music- https://www.dittomusic.com/

MarvMent- https://marvment.com/home

Seed Worldwide- http://www.seedworldwide.com/

Symphonic Distribution- https://symphonicdistribution.com/

Videopush- https://www.videopush.us/

Senses Music Group is a proud partner of Vydia, and has been able to provide some of its original music videos onto the Vevo platform. Vydia’s Vevo music video distribution comes free with any subscription, as well as being able to distribute videos to other platforms such as Apple Music, Amazon Prime Video, XITE, and more.

Additionally, in order to have your video up on Vevo, it must meet the following requirements.

  • Video and/or audio production quality must meet Premium Partner content standards
  • Content must be exclusively owned by the asserting party and/or does not potentially infringes on the rights of a third party.
  • The artist must have a strong social media presence.
