If you’re a SaaS marketer, product manager or, rather, the owner of a SaaS business, this post is for you.

The post is a careful collection of some of the top Software as a Service (SaaS) blogs and websites that let you get the word out about your business using your contributed contents.

By becoming a contributor on some of these publications, you can:

  • Create awareness and increase the reach and visibility of your SaaS product and brand
  • Boost your website’s search rankings
  • Drive targeted traffic to your website
  • Generate high-quality leads
  • Increase social proof and social media following
  • Increase trials and sign-ups for your software
  • Increase sales and revenue

But that’s not all.

  • Guest blogging on SaaS specific blogs and websites is an opportunity to be where your customers are, thus helping you to gain valuable insight into the kind of content they’re most interested in so that your marketing messages will be more focused and targeted.
  • By taking your time to contribute one stellar post after another, over time, you’ll gain industry recognition and reputation.

Sound good, doesn’t it?

Since first publishing this post, however, I’ve received a couple feedbacks. In response, I decided to update this post.

What’s new?

In this updated version of the post I:

  • Added two subheadings (and attached a PDF of my eBook “Guest Blogging In Vain”) that details how you can generate a positive return on investment from your guest blogging efforts
  • Added over 10 newly found SaaS blogs (20 in all, and counting) that are accepting guest posts
  • Chopped off redundant subheadings and details and ensured only the needed info stays
  • Styled the post with lots of bullet points to help those who will be skimming through

But before I let you in on the SaaS websites and blogs that accept guest posts, I’d like to have you know that not all the websites that you encountered accepting guests posts are worth your time. I mean, guest blogging on some publications is a waste of time, seeing their platform can’t help you achieve your guest blogging goals.

Consequently, if their platform can’t attract targeted traffic to your website or get your brand to be noticed at the very least, why bother then?

In that regard, the publications you need to be sending your contributions to, the criteria for qualifying those publications, tips to increase your odds of being accepted, and ways to squeeze the most juice from the various guest blogging opportunities that would be coming your way — is what will be summarily discussed under the following sub-headlines. Thereafter will be what you have been waiting for: the largest and up-to-date compilation of the lists of SaaS publications accepting guest blog submissions.

Publications That Are A Good Fit for You

  • They publish regularly
  • They have a focused and dedicated audience. Be sure about this before sending your guest posts
  • They credit and credit authors with backlinks (and, sometimes, may allow one, two links pointing back to posts on the author’s website)
  • They publish authors (or posts), not “names”
  • They run exclusively “free” guest posts (no sponsored + free guest posts)
  • They promote contributors posts
  • Their website receives a decent amount of consistent, high-quality visits
  • They’re active on social media
  • They have an email list
  • Their audience is responsive and engaging

While I won’t be going into details (I might touch on some of the points further in the post though) about each of the bulleted points above, I want to urge you not to discount any of them. Meanwhile, I go into full details about each of the points in my eBook. If you’re interested, download link is available bottom of this post. And It’s free.

That said, some few more tips you’ll need as you begin sending your posts to this or that SaaS website or blog.

Few Tips for Getting your Guest Post Accepted and Published

  • Read and comply with the guest posting guidelines of each website.
  • Send your guest posts only through the publications preferred channel (emails, submission forms).
  • Some blogs on this list have a time frame they’ve set for reviewing guest bloggers posts. If you got a confirmation that your message has been sent (assuming you filled a web form or you can confirm via the sent prompt in the case of an email), just take it to be that your message has in fact been sent. Badgering editors on whether your proposed post has been received or not is simply unnecessary.
  • In any case, if you didn’t hear back after the review period had lapsed, and it wasn’t stated in the guest posting guidelines that not receiving a feedback after a certain period means your post or article idea was rejected, consider sending a follow-up message. This should be a kind request inquiring about the status of your submission.
  • Make a good first impression. Ensure your proposed articles (and your guest post pitches) are error-free.
  • Take your time and study the publication you want to write for. Send them only topics they’re interested in.
  • Ensure the blog offering the guest posting opportunity credit authors. You both would be a fit if they allow at least one link back to your website. Anything less and you should pass.

Keep in mind though that there are other general blogs that accept guest posts. Other times tech blogs do, too. However, in selecting publications in this post, I gave preference to websites and blogs that expressly stated SaaS as the only, or one of the topics they’re interested in covering on their website.
