Winger Salah, 25, joined Liverpool from Roma for a club record £36.9m last month in a deal that saw him return to the Premier League after a previous spell at Chelsea. Klopp claimed there be no added pressure on Salah to deliver, from within the Liverpool camp, because of his hefty price tag which makes him the Reds’ most expensive ever player.
The size of the fee, though, almost guarantees expectations of what the Egyptian can add to Liverpool’s attack will be high from outside.
