When It Comes to China, Google’s Experience Still Says It All

The bigger picture is that China has reversed direction; Rather than opening up, raising again a great wall to isolate China from the rest of the world. Such moves toward isolation backed up by nationalism, exceptionalism, populism and militarism seem to be characteristic of large nation states. China though is making this move at breakneck speed, and at all levels of society, directed by a nervous elite with their hand on a pervasive propaganda machine. This is what Google could not be allowed to threaten.
