I dont think the problem is centrism. I think the problem is that people misunderstand centerism to mean if Democrats say 100 and Republicans say 1, the answer is obviously 50.5. No, the answer is what the FACTS say the answer is. Its not an excuse to abducate morals, its not an excuse to say “well, republicans want to deport everybody, were not going to object much. Maybe they have a point with the wall, so lets slow down and build a fence instead.”
Real centrism means being skeptical of both sides and looking into the facts. As the Rs move right, the center stays put and looks leftist.
