The Worker’s Party, led by He Ting Ru, was the younger and somewhat less experienced team in Sengkang this elections. The People’s Action Party, led by Ng Chee Meng, was older and came across as “the wiser” during campaigning. How did Worker’s Party pull off this win?

We’ll be going to the polls this Friday.
Unlike the last two elections, when I had to vote in Aljunied GRC and then in East Coast GRC, it seems pretty clear to me which party to vote for this Friday in Punggol-Pasir Ris GRC.
Is it because the Worker’s Party is not contesting in Punggol-Pasir Ris GRC?
Is it because Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hian is helming the PAP team here?
Do I wish to have more choices so I may truly exercise my vote and make it count?
My answer is no to all the three questions above…
