Mr. Pomerantsev has mentioned, that for the first time Russian democrats have used services of “political technologists” during presidential elections in 1996. These guys had promoted unpopular Boris Yeltsin, who was expected to loose to communists. But Mr. Pomerantsev have not said who they were, I guess because this fact doesn’t fit well in his “Nothing is true” concept.
