I feel like the UX Design community as a whole needs a collective history of design lesson. You guys are saying the same things Industrial Designers were preaching 20 years ago and think you’ve come to some huge, life changing revelation.

A good desginer should always have a process to ensure they are solving the right problem. Most of the time, I see design solutions being the equivalent of an answer to to a question nobody asked (in a negative way — the flipside is the driving force for innovation).
