Great article! So how do we “re-educate” affordably? I looked into culinary school and was shocked to find that the cost of the one and half year program was thirty thousand dollars. And even with that, you are expected to submit yourself to years of unpaid “internships” in kitchens doing, essentially, slave labor, under a generally tyrannical chef. Here’s the kicker, the internship job is actually called “kitchen slave.” Mind you, I have a great paying job but one that I expect to also become automatized in a few years.
