Birthing Androids maybe our future…

A fascinating topic.

Human sexuality has played an integral role in the economy of society pretty much from day one.

Kings would marry many women to secure relations with another nation.

Sex as a commodity has already been proven by streetwalkers and the porn industry.

This is not to mention the problem of human trafficking used for human sex slaves (which impacts chiefly women and children).

And today there is the development of robotic sex dolls.

What I think culturally we are seeing concerning the “Redistribution of Sex” is not one of pure economics and democracy, but more of how human sexuality is defined socially.

We have same-sex marriage, robot sex dolls, romance novels where hot guys act in ways they don’t in real life, #MeToo, Clergy Sex Abuse, Feminism, and Machismo attitudes.

Sexually the U.S. is undergoing yet again another sexual identity crisis, and socially we have not a clue to the ultimate outcome or if it’s going to stabilize.

This is why as a Sci-Fi author, I have a dystopian-like future world where mankind has invented a female android which can birth cloned humans, nurse them, and even care for them as a Nanny. I took all the domestic roles human women do and put them into a machine thus allowing women to pursue other things without such burdens.

Are we headed for my birthing android? I have not a clue, but I can for see the possibility.
