Twenty Lessons of the Twentieth Century for Trump’s America
Timothy Snyder

Have you ever put together a checklist or scorecard that mirrors this set of actions? There is an old management axiom, “You have to measure it to manage it”.

Fascism is such a broad term that it’s hard for people to wrap their brains around, and that is part of why we are surprised when it “all of the sudden” happens. I’d like a scorecard, so we can all watch the same signals together, and plan to react accordingly. And a scorecard — especially one that was put together before events happened — would allow us to effectively communicate to those who are not as hypersensitive to the rise of fascism as we who read your posts.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
