Ghost buttons: Why you should be afraid.
Bartholomew Fish

Well, I bet you’re an advocate of the pop-up banners as well then, simply because they are clearly visible and the conversion rate gotta be higher than the fill buttons. Ghost buttons is surely something that doesnt scream “BUY NOW” in my face. Because if I’d be really interested, I’d find that button anyway, simply following the basic logic of button location, and thats assuming I’m half-blind. In fact, I’m personally grateful for them because they follow the “content-is-king” concept, and as a UX designer you probably know that these days buttons don’t really appear in random places and the stuff you put there quite follows the topic, whether it is ‘buy now’, ‘subscribe’, etc.
