London’s next mayor, Sadiq Khan (MP-Labour) is a Muslim British-Pakistani. Yet the same eyes roll now as when Zayn became the first British Muslim Pakistani to top the Billboard Top 100. Hmm.
This tells me a few things about the Muslim Ummah:
1. We don’t celebrate anything.
2. We don’t support each other.
3. We love doing whataboutery.
4. We tear ourselves down 24/7.
5. We are mostly masochistic.
6. We don’t appreciate metaphor.

8. We’ll never amount to anything.
9. Nobody else takes us seriously.
10. We can’t ever have nice things.
