Big Victory on Tariffs — MTB Passes in House!

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, on their first day back in Washington after the August break, the House passed the Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB). This action follows the Senate passing the bill earlier this summer, on July 26th.

Now that the bill has passed through both the House and the Senate, it will go to President Trump for a final signature. The president is expected to sign the bill, as there was not a single member of the House or Senate that voted against the MTB — Making a veto easy to override.

The MTB will result in $16.5 million in annual savings, which is great news for the sports and fitness industry.
