If a child …

A modified version of the poem “Children Learn What They Live”
By Dorothy Law Nolte. This was painted around the top of the Bus this last week … Requested by Karen.

If a child lives with criticism, we learn to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility, we learn to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule, we learn to be shy.

If a child lives with shame, we learn to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance, we learn to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement, we learn confidence.

If a child lives with praise, we learn to appreciate.

If a child lives with fairness, we learn justice.

If a child lives with security, we learn to have faith.

If a child lives with approval, we learn to like ourselves.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, we learn to find love in the world.
