34 Books by Women of Color to Read This Year
R.O. Kwon

Unfortunately, I can’t read all of these books. I have major depression and sad books will put me in a funk for months. I will, however, be reading Radical Hope, What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky, and the short story you mentioned, which can be found here: https://granta.com/our-last-guest/. I will also be looking up Roxane Gay, who I’m ashamed to admit I've never heard of. But what I’d REALLY like is more speculative fiction — science fiction, fantasy, and the like. Anybody want to recommend some? For those of you who don’t know about it, there’s an excellent fiction magazine called Expanded Horizons full of stories by minority authors, which can be found here: http://expandedhorizons.net/magazine/.
