Congratulations, it looks really promising! The fluctuation of surface water area is an important variable for many eco-hydrological processes in West Africa particularly. NB. I would just suggest to change the name “water level” to “lake area” since “water level” refers to the height of water. As you know the relation between the lake area and water level is typically not linear and also depends on each lake’s bathymetry..
