I have choosen the Northeast Sun venue, which covers news throughout the northeast communities of Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Cypress Park, El Sereno, and Lincoln Heights. I have picked this local Los Angeles newspaper chain because it deals with individuals in my community. This newspaper is bilingual and is affiliated with the Eastern Group Publications. I grew up in Highland Park, in a Latino and Hispanic community, so having the ability to see the events and issues surrounding my hometown is very important and quite exciting.
