ProductTank MCR

ProductTank was founded in 2010 in London, in the 7 years since then it’s grown and grown and today it spans over 75 cities with over 35,000 members. Aside from two huge annual conferences by the name of Mind The Product in San Francisco and London, it usually takes the form of an informal meetup that brings together the local product community — whether they’re Product Managers, Designers, or Developers — all are welcome to come down and share their knowledge and experience.

ProductTank Manchester has been running since 2011 and today we’re thrilled to be sponsoring their newest event. ProductTank has a lot of pedigree, so it’s great to be part of it all as the speakers take to the stage tonight at Kosmonaut on Tariff Street to tackle a range of issues around Digital Product Development. We’ve always got an ear to the ground on all things Digital in Manchester, so of course we’re going to be involved in this one, showing our faces and laying on some food and drinks for everyone who makes it down.

There’s two great speakers at this event;

Adam Warburton

Head of Product for Membership at Co-Op
Adam recently joined the Co-Op as Head of Product for Membership, having previously worked at Travelex, Asda and O2. His background is in leading product teams in organisations undergoing a transformation.
Financial services isn’t exactly the sexiest of industries, and in his talk Adam will discuss how to build engaging products in this typically unengaging category. His talk will cover JTBD (jobs to be done), and how using JTBD allows you to understand and exploit opportunities that others miss, allowing you to build truly engaging products.
Victoria Black

Product Delivery Manager at Manchester City Football Club
Victoria has worked at Manchester City for nine years delivering websites, apps, integrations and optimisations. As the Club has grown, so has the importance of delivering innovative digital products quickly, while also managing a growing number of stakeholders.

It’s set to be a great meetup — Product Heads, we’d love to see you there!
