There is incidentally a blackbox larp tradition taking from theatre. There are even conventions such as Blackbox Copenhagen.

I think this tradition would also be a valuable for improvisers to explore. Particularly because these techniques are focused on effecting the performers and not the audience as with a scripted theatre tradition. Aditionally I would really love to see an improv show with the look and feel of White Death
