The Hunger Games

Day 11 of the 100 Word Project

Call him Katniss, because he’s Hunger Games.

My wife is a saint because she (mostly) puts up with the stupid words and phrases I repurpose, like “hunger games:”

hunger games (adj.): the state of being extremely hungry (i.e. You can call me Katniss, because I’m hunger games right now.)

hunger games (n.): that point when you’re so famished you could enter a dystopian battle royale and murder someone (i.e. Eleven ‘o’clock? The hunger games are happening in my stomach. Let’s go to Taco Bell.)

hunger games (v.): the act of eating with no regard for manners. (i.e. I’m going to hunger games these Naked Chicken Chips.)

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
