Kia Orana,

I am from Aotearoa and I see the need to promote Pasifika languages and cultural values so that the children know who they are and have their identities affirmed. Pacifika students develop the ability, confidence and motivation to succeed academically when they participate competently as a result of having developed a secure sense of identity and knowledge that their voice will be heard and respected within their learning environment. They must feel a sense of ownership for the learning that goes on in their learning community.

The stand you take now to make a difference will help nurture the next younger Pacifika academic generation. Arohanui.
