Key to Every Heart ❤
Starting off with a famous quote by John Ruskin: ‘’A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money.’’ This quote is a clear depiction of the fact that no money or anything else in the world is bigger than kindness. It is a universal language which each and every individual around the world can understand. No matter which country or religion you belong to and whichever language you speak, an act of kindness never goes futile because it is understood and practiced by everyone in the world. Your act of kindness reflects your and other behaviors towards you. Likewise, practicing little acts of kinds makes this world a better place to live. However, Kindness is a complex term to comprehend yet simplest to realize. It gives you a feeling of peace and satisfaction and at the same time develops a feeling of joy and happiness within the recipient. It also helps you in making a better person and realize that happiness can be found even in the smallest of things. You never know that your small act of kindness can help a person in tons of big ways and give them a reason to live again.
Beside the given project, I already had the habit of doing at least 2–3 kind acts within a week. I literally feel incomplete and a sense of dissatisfaction whenever I failed in doing something good to other due to my hectic routine. However, the five random acts of kindness I would like to share are.

1. Helped a friend in research
It is said that a ‘Friend in need is a friend indeed’. One day I went to my university to complete my tasks related to research. I saw my friend sitting with a disappointment. I went to him and asked about his problem. To my surprise, I got to know that the chemical reaction, he had been working on the past week didn’t become successful and that he has to do it all over again. I said him to cheer up and not to worry because these are the happenings of life and by troubles comes the ease. I helped him in completing the whole reaction which previously took a week within 3 days. He thanked tons of times for this, seeing him happy developed a sense of peace within myself.

2. Gave money to the poor
Every time I see any needy person on the road, I give them money. I believe that the more you give, the more you get and this belief had made me a regular giver whenever I see any needy person.
3. Donated blood
On the same day, I received a call from my friend that one of his family members need B positive blood urgently because he had to undergo a surgery. My blood group was B positive and I quickly thought of donating him. I asked my mother but she refused because we all know how sensitive mothers regarding their children. I sat, talked to her about my friend’s problem and their need and made her assured that nothing would happen to me. She agreed and I quickly went to the hospital and donated. Later my friend called and thanked me and informed about the successful surgery of his family member. I felt so much happy and satisfied and thanked ALLAH for his countless blessings.

4. Went to SOS village and distributed candies &free tickets to an Amusement Park in Lahore
I already had free tickets to an Amusement Park in Lahore. As I was so much busy with my routine I couldn’t use them nor did I have any small children at the house to whom I could take. That day, I had a plan of visiting SOS village so on the way back to my home from university I went there and distributed candies and that ticket. The children got very excited and I could literally see their happiness reflecting in their eyes.
5. Spent time with my family and made them laugh
Because of my hectic routine, I rarely got time to spend it with my family. It had been so long that we all sat together and laughed like before. But, that day I took time out left all my pending work and spent a nice afternoon with my family making them laugh at small things. That night I slept so happy and peacefully.

So, from all these acts of kindness, I learned that small things do matter a lot in life. There are people who cannot even think about small wished but we, even after getting so much feels unhappy and regret all the time. These acts of kindness helped me in developing a sense of affection, giving, humanity, compassion, and spirituality. So, once I join the job all these acts of kindness would be relevant because I would know the importance of helping or be kind while working for a team. In the end, I would only say that it is very important to keep on doing acts of kindness because we have no idea that our small acts can change a life of a person to what extent and in what way.
