Looks like in the name of writing a technology article the writer basically gave us some superficial info about the crypto-currency overshadowing its true nature under the guise of “digital currency”. The writer cleverly avoided sharing the facts behind the secretive birth and development of Bitcoin, how a mysterious entity with a Japanese name wrote the complex algorithm claiming that nobody can reproduce the same Bitcoin and innovated a mysticism where people would be mining Bitcoin like mining gold and silver. We must keep in our mind that this is a human made thing formulated by a smart entity whose intention is to introduce a mean that would overcome gold and silver and absolutely nothing is there that one can trust in, like we have been trusting the fiat money for generations without knowing what’s the driving force behind it. When there is a security in place there is potentially a breach awaiting opportunities. Such would be the fate of Bitcoin in a foreseeable near future.
