It’s like rain of flowers on your wedding day…

When you get engaged you realize that there are a bunch of expenses ahead of you. You know that you will have to spend a small fortune on an engagement ring. No way around it — if it ain’t expensive, it ain’t gonna happen.

But if you are anything like me, you had no idea how expensive wedding dresses are. You know your fiancé will not compromise — if it ain’t expensive it’s not good enough for her “special day.” But the thought of spending close to 2000 quid on a dress that will be worn only once in a lifetime is, how shall we put it…. Painful?

So here’s what I did. We went to the store. I saw what she liked. I then went here. The website was a nightmare, but eventually, I got the dress she wanted for less than 200 quid. She loved it. And thus I funded our honeymoon.
