Pomodoro is technique to get rid of procrastination. It was invented by Francesco Cirillo in early 1980’s. Pomodoro is an Italian words mean tomato, because timer we use also looks like a tomato that’s why it is name after it.

In this particular technique we have to apply timer for 25 minutes and remove every kind of interruptions to perform a self-assigned task. At the end we can have a short break and again start a timer.

I decided to do my online project work of Amal Fellowship using this technique, because I am a procrastinationist by nature, that’s why I delay my project and usually it took 11 hours to complete one online task.

I applied this technique and finished my almost five hour long course in just previous 25minutes. As I was away from facebook, youtube, instagram, even my cell phone was on charging in the next room, it is a really good and a helping technique one can just imagine.

Although it was difficult to cut off from my mobile phone, for such a long period i.e.25minutes, I feel that I have not used it since month, as now there are lots of notification. Let me check them all. It my break time. CIAO
