Eisenhower matrix is a way to help you priortize your task by its urgency or “it can wait” category. It is very helpfull if you start using this technique for your everyday tasks or routine. This technique is introduced by American president Eisenhower. He used it for his presidential work and decisions. So basically, it have four partitions or matrix, each partition has its own heading. First one is used to enlist urgent tasks which should be done the same day. Second is for important but not urgent tasks, third is for category delegate, tasks which are urgent but not very important means if you hold they wont harm. And the last one is eliminate category, tasks which are neither urgent nor important. During one of my projects i was assigned to complete and enlist my tasks using this matrix. It was new for me so decided to give it a go and learned about it. After figuring it out i summed up my urgent and not so urgent tasks using this matrix and it came out perfect and guess what! It worked. It helped me to organize and manage my important tasks which otherwise were difficult for me to figure out the important ones that need my urgent attention. For now on i will use this technique for my future tasks.
