Josep Pep Guardiola is an acknowledged Spanish football manager. Guardiola was born in Santpedor on 18 Jan 1971. He owns a coaching UEFA pro license. He is a defensive midfielder. Guardiola was selected as the coach of Barcelona on 21 June 2007, and the team won under his coaching. On 16 Jan 2013, Guardiola was appointed as a manager of Bayern Munich from the 2013–2016 season. Currently, he is the manager of the Premier League club of Manchester City.

In 2008 Joan Laporta declared that Guardiola would be the manager of senior Barcellona at the end of the 2007–2008 season. Well, he became the manager of the Barcelona team in 2007. Guardiola is currently managing at Manchester signed a three-year contract. However, he prolonged the contract for a further two years. Guardiola brought many changes to the team in the starting. He disputedly replaced long-serving City commencing goalkeeper Joe Hart with Claudio Bravo from his previous club Barcelona; subsequently, Hart failed to impress Guardiola in pre-season, he was lent to Torino. Moreover, at the end of Sep 2016, Guardiola had won the first ten matches at this time. Well, Guardiola faced his first defeat as manager at Manchester with 2–0 against Tottenham. Although this was the first season in Guardiola’s career, he ended up without a trophy.

Well, in the prior seasons, the team stood up under Guardiola management. They worked hard until Manchester City won all nine matches in January 2021 and was labeled the team with the most wins. After this, Guardiola led Manchester City to win its first champion league final.
