I purchased the Razer Cynosa Chroma RGB Gaming Keyboard six months ago, and in my opinion, there are much better cheaper keyboards available that do not force you to have an online account merely to change keyboard lighting.

For the most part, the keyboard works ok but compared to my old Cyborg V5 membrane keyboard not as reliably.

The thing that really does let the keyboard down, and has made me decide never to purchase Razer products in future, is the awful Razer Synapse software.
It’s nice being able to change the colours of the keys (individually), but at the expense of slowing down startup, forcing you to have a Razer account and continually wanting to be online, you have to ask yourself is it worth it; for me, definitely not.
Since the recent update of the Razer software, you can no longer change the account to offline mode; you may also experience an annoying menu popping up asking you to connect to your account.

If you want a membrane keyboard that has individually customisable lighting on each key, that can remain offline, DO NOT purchase the Razer Chroma RGB keyboard, look at other manufacturers.
