Sharing 6 tips with a working professional

I have shared these 6 tips with my teacher Sir Engr Nouman Shabbir lecturer at Government College University, Lahore. After my internship hour I go straight to him and requested him for his precious time and he gave me a very positive response.

Tip 1: Put your time in: Everyone starts out doing grunt work till trust is proven

Tip 2: Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss

Tip 3: Take control of your relationship with your boss and team members

Tip 4: Find a mentor and manage the relationship strategically

Tip 5: Join a professional body and build your network

Tip 6: Embrace change and reflect on what you are learning daily

I briefly told him these 6 tips and agreed to all of them. He said that it is very necessary not to talk anything bad about your organization, build a healthy relation with your boss if you want to excel in a particular field. He told me his story that use your networks and not to stick to your comfort zone. He said that he applied tip no 3,5,6 and as a result he is now a controller examination and placement officer of our department as well which is a big achievement. It was an 15 minutes meeting and after that I thanked him for his precious time.
