Retreat

Since we are graduating students (hopefully haha), we need to undergo a 3 day retreat. The said retreat was in Villa Sta Luisa Retreat House in Tagaytay. At first I’m kinda excited yet nervous. Excited because we’re going to Tagaytay and Nervous because I’m going to miss my family and feel home sick at the same time.

On our first day, we arrived at Villa Sta Luisa Retreat House around 4:30 in the afternoon. The staffs show us the dorm that we will be staying for the next couple of days. There’s dorm B and dorm C. The dorm B will be the boy’s bedroom and the dorm C will be the girl’s bedroom. After we put our bags on our dorm. The Sisters orient us what are the do’s and don’ts inside the retreat house. After that Sister Myra said that we should unpack our things first then we will wait for the bell to ring. That’s the time that we should have our snacks. And after our snacks the retreat session begins.

On our second day, we went to church around 6:00 in the morning. After that we ate and began again our sessions. It’s been a long day for us because of a lot of activities that we did. We did a lot of sharing’s. And after each session that we had, snacks are always followed. The foods really taste good.

On our last day, we had our mass and our last session. And after that we ate our lunch and waited for the bus that we will be riding on the way to Manila. So, we had a lot of picture taking while waiting. After that the bus came and we decided to go home but along the way we ask Sister Myra if we can buy fruits and she agree. Then we finally reach our destination which was the school and decided to parted ways, it was a long day for us so we should really sleep.

I can say that this retreat molds me for whom or what I am in the near future.
