“Listening And Paying Attention To Customers”

During my long sales tenure I have noticed many sales person do not pay attention or listen to customer complete need. Sales person comes to his conclusion as the customer finishes his first- two sentences without listening him further for his actual need. This attitude of ignoring listening of customer can bring awkward situation in front of customer and may be a chance for selling a wrong product to the customer.

In sales LISTENING to the customer is very important if we want to sell the right product as per the actual need of customer.

“Tips for a good listening”

1) Listen to customer actively

Let customer feel that you want to help him finding his actual need. This will help you emotionally attached to the customer.

2) Try to read the emotional state of the customer so that it is easy to communicate with him .

3) Listen to Customer as per his preferred channel, if he is interested to interact via text/ email or phone

4) Never argue with customer
