Hard to understand the Trump supporters rallying for peace and understanding while all during the election Trump has been the poster child for nasty politcal rhetoric. Much of that rhetoric felt very targeted. I suppose if one does not feel targeted, one can easily dismiss it.

Hard to understand how voting for the admitted predator (walking in on women dressing, at the very least) is better than voting for the spouse of the accused.

I think the OP has put a lot of policy expectations behind the many vague statements made by Trump. The rest of us are concerned about the specific policy statements (threats?) made and the hopeful sentiment of many trump supporters that he won’t do what he said he would do.
