The unknown Parallel dimension of expense management process

The way we deal with managing expenses in our universe- might not be the only expense management process out there. There are other universes (Parallel dimension) existing alongside our own with different version of our self, who does completely different tasks in managing expenses.

The birth of parallel dimensions

The parallel dimensions never existed until the advancement of technology and simultaneously implementing BOYD (Bring Your Own Device)in the work place. The growing gap between technology and manual process of business expense management gave birth to parallel dimension of expense management.

“Almost the same, but not quite”

Both dimensions are almost similar to each other, deals with similar task, share same technology and also share same expense management predicament, yet one dimension qualify to be better than the other in terms of utilizing technology to ease those tedious business expense process . But strangely that’s the only thing that keeps each dimension different from each other.

Well, to put it in a nut shell, one dimension is quite smart , discovered the opportunity and utilized technology for better solution and other seems to be ignorant about it.

The evidence of technological ignorance in expense management

Technology has evolved to ease every humans tasks and there has not a single aspect of human experience that hasn't touched by technology. From home door security to tracking sleep pattern, everything is controlled and analyzed by a smartphone, a handheld computer .

However, when it comes to managing expenses most of them have taken a step back in exploring the technological possibilities to solve the manual expense management process which would automate, track, analyse and visibility of your business spending. But here technology seems to be untouched at all.

Since both dimensions are almost identical to each other, evolved at the same time frame and quite unaware of expense management process of other dimension . You know, it’s hard to know where you belong.

Manual dimension: All business expense management process takes manually and involve considerable amount of time, money and effort.

Automated dimension : Here all business expenses are automated digitally and streamlined for approval effortlessly. Hence saving huge time , money and effort .

Expense receipt is a valuable piece of paper until the reimbursement of that expense is processed. keeping track these expense receipts are often a worry because losing these expense receipts are quite common here.

In automated dimension

You have other things to worry about than a piece of paper . Since ,expense receipts are digitized and all expense recordings are streamlined into one digitized platform. Hence, you worry less about losing or keeping track of your business expenses.
