Student opens up to student
I sat down with Noora Al Hameli my classmate and we decided to interview each other and discussed about stuff we couuld have to changed about university mostly.
- If you could go back in time and you could change one thing, what would that be?
I’ll change my univeristy instead of going to zayed university and I’ll go to New york univeristy Abu Dhabi.
2. if you had to choose a major thats not in zayed university what would you choose?
I would choose law because its a tough and a challenging course.
3. If you were put in a situation where you had to choose between 2 majors what would you choose and why?
i would choose a tough course but i major that i can enjoy it as well and that will help me in the future and in my job.
4. What are the problems that you have faced in your first semsters in university?
I didnt get the ielts and that was a major problem that i have faced in Zayed university.
5. Do you perfer school or university and why?
i perfer school because me and my friends were together and because the teachers used to help us and we used to get higher average in school but in univeristy we are on our own.
6. Do you think after entering university youve become more responsible if so how?
Yes because i do everything on my own without the teachers help and i motivate myself so i can improve my skills.
7. What are the pros and cons about university ?
The pros is that we learn many things and university helps us how can we deal with others and how to communicate and the cons are the univeristy rules for example attendance effects us alot.
8. If you had to the option to study abroad would you go if yes which country and why?
Yes i would study abroad and i would study in America because its an inertsting place and there i can improve my english because i would be forced to commuincate in english which will help me.
9. What are the troubles that you faced in the past few semesters?
I got an academic warning because i used to be in a business major which dropped my gpa and now I’m on track because i switched majors to tourism.
10. What is your major and why did you choose it?
My major is Tourism i chose it because its an intersting major and nowadays alot of people are focusing on tourism so thats why i choose it and its needed in the UAE.
