Thanks for sharing.
It’s totally true. When I was school, we learned the optimized path: user research, wireframe, prototype, user testing and iteration ONCE. They’ve never taught you rejection, communication and presentation which I learn in real world, like how to communicate/work with engineers, product owners, business department, etc.
Sometimes I feel frustrated when people question my design. After times, I realize it’s completely normal and not personal. Learning to take constructive feedback and be flexible, confident are so important.
Thank you so much to writing it down and let people realize the other side of UX.
