The coronavirus that began in a Wuhan wet market has nearly come full circle with travelers from abroad returning to China and being diagnosed with the disease.

Health authorities in Zhejiang province report that a Chinese woman who flew in from Milan last week has been hospitalized after testing positive for the Covid-19 virus.

The 31-year-old woman started showing symptoms on February 16, according to Chinese state media reports. And yet she still managed to take a flight from Milan to Moscow and then onwards to Shanghai.

She was quarantined upon arriving in Qingtian county before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

Hers was the only coronavirus case reported in Zhejiang on Sunday.

This is the fourth recorded time that a coronavirus case has arrived from aboard, according to Chinese health authorities.

Previously, Chinese nationals arriving in the country from Iran and London have been diagnosed with the virus.

With the situation stabilizing in China over the past few weeks, it’s now become the Chinese people’s turn to worry over the threat of imported coronavirus cases.
