Mirriam Webster defines “society” as a community, nation, or broad grouping of people having common traditions, institutions, and collective activities and interests but to simplify I’d call a society a place with an agreed upon set of truths or rules. Without these mutually agreed upon truths we would have nothing as evidenced by the growing divide between the members of the society within the United States.
