The Left is Selfish
I’m tired of the narrative that leftists push. Leftists are not good people, they are immoral collectivists who demand that individuals do what the left want them to. They despise anyone who wishes to live as an individual outside the hive mind.
It is a lie that you are a virtuous good person for wearing a mask and for insisting on laws (men with guns) to force mask wearing on others. I could argue there are scientific reasons, health reasons and religious reasons for not wishing to be masked but ultimately it does not matter because it should be up to the individual to make their own health decisions. No one should be forced at gunpoint to do what another person believes is healthy. If this logic can be applied to masks and vaccines than it can be applied to any health issue.
Obesity related heart disease causes the highest amount of deaths in the US per year — 647,000. This means one in four deaths. And that’s death, that does not include the cost of knee replacements, insulin for diabetics and food costs. Are these overweight individuals selfish when they use public funds for surgeries/food/therapy? Should the government intervene with weight mandates? Should I join the mask Karens and start publicly shaming fat people for their health choices? Should their healthcare and food costs stop being publicly funded by our tax dollars if they balloon past a certain weight? What about smokers? Are you a selfish person if you smoke on a public sidewalk since other pedestrians will breath in nicotine? 7,300 people die from lung cancer caused by secondhand smoke each year. Many people squawking about masks are overweight middle aged women, visually it seems obvious that they do not care about their health, is a mask the simplest way to virtue signal that they do care…but without the necessary gym time and diet dedication that would usually prove it?
This selfish and immoral mindset can be applied to any current issue. Insisting on laws that redistribute money that is not yours to causes that you support is not virtuous, it is theft. Not respecting other’s health choices is selfish. Reporting businesses and people for not living the way you want them to is selfish. The left is comprised of bigots who want everyone to live the way they do. They are not kind, they are not selfless, they are tyrants desperate for the ability to control the people around them.
