ACT has been the most amazing thing that has happened to my life this year (especially the leaves on a stream exercise). It’s a different paradigm — living for Eudaemonia rather than happiness/pleasure.

I’d highly recommend books of Steven C. Hayes and Russ Harris for the layperson. ACT is not a quick and dirty fix, but it’s something which one should include in his cognitive toolkit (as well as CBT).
