Sure, for this example you could use whatever spies you want as I’m explicitly calling them as I required the use of callbacks for successfully mocking these responses.
However aws-sdk-mock’s documentation shows integration only with sinon, so for more implicit spies, jest might cause problems.
Sounds like your reasoning is hitting a wall. I’d recommend taking a look at Alan Watts and in particular his series called “Out of your mind”.
