News Flash: SZC’s CEO and advisor had an insightful chat in Switzerland
Dr. Tat Lam, CEO of Shanzhai City and Chief Social Scientist of iO₂ Foundation, had an insightful chat with Helmuth Aberer, advisor of iO₂ Foundation and also Co-Founder of COGNITO HUB Limited (Hong Kong) when they were in Switzerland to join a social impact bonds workshop.
The CEO was invited to attend a design workshop held by the UBS Optimus Foundation and ixo Foundation of “Smart Impact Bonds 1.0” in Zürich Switzerland on 7-8 June, 2018 (see details of the workshop: click here). After his arrival in Zürich, Lam joined Aberer to visit Blockchain Swiss Made, a blockchain community in Zurich, and discussed with legal team of Bitmain for iO₂ Foundation structuring.
Helmuth Aberer has 30 years plus Swiss Banking experience, serving UBS more than 20 years for asset management, risk management, agricultural development and social housing investment, in China, Australia, and Europe. Retired from UBS, Helmuth is an independent business advisor for investments between Switzerland and China now. Helmuth is a co-founder of COGNITO HUB Ltd, Hong Kong, a consulting company, which supports innovative companies and smart governments with high social and economic impact as advisor, board member, executive coach and investor. He is also a managing partner at ARISE Investment Consulting Ltd, Hong Kong, a specialized M&A consulting company with partners in Shanghai and Beijing to connect European and Chinese companies and investors. Helmuth has been an early investor of Shanzhai City and mentoring Dr. Lam for years for setting up efficient operation and financial structure.
Helmuth is deeply connected in Zurich and Zug for the community of private banking and crypto economics experts. He is a recommending advisor from Ethereum Foundation to work with iO₂ Foundation to realize the execution.
