MSID: Business Model Generation-what value do we deliver to the customer

Last week, I read a book called “Business Model Generation”, which is a book to teach and show how to create value and build new business, or how to improve and transform your organization.
From the section of value propositions indicates that it is the reason why customers turn to one company over another. It comes up some segments about what value do we deliver to the customer. What attract my attention is “Customization”.
Customization means a product and service need to meet the specific needs of individual value. Actually, it comes to a really popular word in recent years. As a ux designer, this word means more then other.
Design customization can help customers to create their own unique products. Now brands are taking personalization a big step forward into mass customization. They are discovering that they can elevate customer loyalty and engagement — and use their customer base as an engine of advocacy to potential buyers. With product customization, many company can boost their sales because the diy part in their official website. Also they gain more attentions and opportunities from other competitive firms. I still remember how happy I am, when I can made my first unique pizza.
Customization can be an inevitable and irreversible trend for the future business field. Combine the innovation sprit and tinker mind together are able to generate a new tangible world.
