How people communicate
I think there’s a fundamental problem in how people communicate or engage in conversations. In general, people believe the key to effective dialog is to have the ability to tell great stories and narrate interesting experiences. For most part that is true, however there’s another often ignored but extremely important part — listening and asking questions. Giving the other person that chance to be just as, if not even better at having fascinating stories to share. I believe this essentially comes down to how self absorbed we as a human race are.
