Dear All,

Myself is Shariq Jamil and today, I would like to again share a truly adventuress and interesting travelling story to all of you. In fact, it can be categorized as 2 x thrilling as I did it on my “Two Wheel Suzuki GS 150” from Karachi till Moola Chutook (Located in mountaineering areas in Khuzdaar).

Firstly, I would like to share the following facts :

1. Moola Chutok (Chutook translated as “Abhshaar” in Balochi language”.

2. Located around 80 KM from Khuzdar. (Khuzdar is around 395 KM from Karachi).

3. Mostly 95% irani fuel is available after crossing the HUB city.

4. Good hotel accommodation is available in Khuzdar.

5. No accommodation and food is available in Moola Chutok. (you have to carry your own).

6. Only a proper place before Moola Chutok is “Khaarzaan” from where you can top up the foods and other items.

7. A local guide is recommended.

8. 4x4 vehicles are available in Khuzdar which can carry you to the destination and back.

9. Travelling in nights ahead of Khuzdar in mountaineering areas is not recommended.

As being an enthusiast traveller, this time I decided to take myself to the hidden sanctuary of Beautiful Baluchistan.

Firstly I made a plan which included the destination, tea, food spots / restaurants, washroom facilities etc. The plan I made to visit, was as following:

1st Destination : Zero Point

(To take rest, have a cup of tea, watering yourself and refresh)

2nd Destination : Uthal

(Same as above)

3rd Destination : Bella

(Same as above including food top up)

4th Destination : Khuzdar

(To repack your luggage, take 2 to 3 hours proper rest, if reached at night then rest till the dawn).

5th Destination : Moola Chutok

(To energize yourself. In other words “Jee lay apni zindagi”)

I took the below items which are the recommended carryings for Bike riders:

1. Spare Key along with safety gears. (Most important)

2. Tyre changing complete tool with spare tubes.

3. Speed, clutch, break wire x 1 each.

4. Clutch and break lever x 2 each.

5. Specific number/size wrench tool, plier, +/- screw driver etc.

6. Spare light bulb and spare oil. (Just as a safety measurement).

7. Digital / Manual Air pump. (Manual is recommended).

8. Tow Rope.

9. MAP and all relevant contact information.

10. All documents of Bike, License, Identity card etc .

11. 1st Aid Kit.

12. A small knife, scissor and general tool kits which include +/- Screw driver, plier etc.

13. Emergency Light (good to have a chargeable from car charging system).

14. Water bottle, dry fruits, nimko etc.

15. Toiletries.

16. A trouser along with a T-Shirt or two.

17. Sandals/Chappals.

18. Get oil and oil filter changed before travelling.

19. Camera, extra battery, power bank and charging accessories etc.

20. Spare money.

21. Reusable shopping bags or shoppers.

22. A pair of pillow, blanket and camp. (If adventurers enough to camp rather than hoteling) along with chaddar (to make a picnic site).

23. Duaey, good will, strong vision and power to print all happiness in memory forever.

I shopped all these from different markets, got bike refreshed from mechanics, changed oil etc and got all refreshment from super stores etc.

Finally, the day arrived and I left the home at 8.00 P.M after getting a lot of duaey from my mom. After leaving out form Karachi, have a cup of tea at HUB city then left for Zero point. After around 3 hours (due to traffic and rest spot) I was at Zero point. Again had a cup of tea to stay fresh. Left again for next destination. I decided to bypass bela and directly reach to Khuzdar to have ample amount of time for rest. I was there in Khuzdar before the dawn. I stayed over a hotel to have breakfast and rest around 5 hours. Had a bit nap and refreshed myself again with a strong cup of tea. At 11 A.M I left for Moola Chutok.

There are two routes to reach to this majestic waterfall. One is short and have a severe and very tough off-road track while other is easy to manage and has very less off-road track. I decided to go with short one. (which in fact became the nightmare due to the hardest and toughest off-road track).

It was a very good day when I started my journey. While moving towards the destination, I faced several water stream where I had to pull off my bike. The level was dangerously high as reaching till the engine. However, I managed to escape from all these hurdles. Right before the destination, I lost all of my way and spent around 2 hour riding in the dark shades of mountains. The local guide who was guiding was unfortunately far ahead of me and I was unable to trace him. (there is no communication signal in these range of mountains).

However, with the help of ALMIGHTY ALLAH, I was there at the point at 11:00 P.M night. (hahaha….what an experience that was).

The local guide prepared food for us which he had with him from Khuzdar and after having a wonderful dinner in dark night, we had a marvellous cup of tea too. As I was very tired so I soon met with the dreams and went off to the chaddar layed off on the “kacha pakka” farsh of guest house. (There is only a boundary wall and inside are some broken rooms before moola chutok which is locally known as GUEST HOUS). We had a wonderful breakfast here and again refreshed ourselves with a hot cup of tea despite the temperate was rising with every moment.

In next day early morning I had to tracked almost 40 minutes to the world’s one of the most beautiful waterfall. I spent time over there while swimming, eating and exploring the surrounding areas. At noon, I left the place and started my journey back to Khuzdar. This time, I decided to go through easy route (less off-road) and till night, I was safely in Khuzdar.

Again, had a good dinner at Khuzdar and after resting an hour or two, I left Khuzdar for Karachi. While having cups of tea and refreshment, Just by the grace of ALMIGHTY ALLAH, I finally managed to return at home by early morning in next day.
