He Survived The Bataan Death March And Years Of Captivity
A Soldier's Whisper

My father-in-law was in the Army-Airforce in WWII. He was a radio man on a B-17 that was shot down in the English Channel by the Germans, and was imprisoned in Stalag 17 for a year and a half. He survived the Death March, too. He NEVER spoke of his time there; my mother-in-law told us these things. I know he did get a Purple Heart later. He was a wonderful man.
