The root for being protective lies in“insecurity”. Doubt on our abilities to fix the things and inability to trust the capabilities of affected lot in managing their affairs. Our politicians have short sight, corporate captain selfishly greedy, academic leaders obsolete and media moguls focusing on immediate earnings of loyalties and TRPs. How do you expect them to act differently with such a lethal cocktail. I certainly didn’t.
