Jesus. What did I just read?

I am a healthy eater, but making good food choices alone is not enough to keep some of the most common and destructive health issues away.

I just lost 30 pounds and with it, I went from no longer needing medication for Type 2 Diabetes, no longer needing cholesterol medication, no longer needing high blood pressure medication (I am now at 110/70).

What I ate didn’t change. How much I ate and moved did.

All of this took me 2 months to achieve.

At 49, I’m on zero medications.

As a feminist, why wouldn’t you want women to be healthier in one of the easiest ways to get there — by being at a healthy weight?

The idea of weight loss being anything about the patriarchy is bullshit.

You know, at times I think big pharma is behind the HAES movement. They are ultimately the only winners by encouraging obesity.
