People have lost the ability to communicate with each other. Instead, most comments that I read on different sites, are derogatory to other posters. I had posted a comment on one of the stories in a news letter that I get, & a man posted an answer to my comment, & proceeded to call me a hag. I took great exception to that, & told him so. Then I told him that, he didn’t have to agree with my point of view, but neither did he need to name call. Several other posted comments to his post, in my defense. It’s sad that we ALL want freedom of speech, but too many people get so defensive if you don’t think their solution is the only solution. Example: gay activists stirring up trouble for Christian businesses. All businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone. Baking a cake is not necessarily agreeing with same sex marriage, UNLESS~they want the cake to expressly represent same sex marriage. We’re all entitled to our own opinions, but, we are NOT entitled to force our opinion on the other person. People need to take the chip off their shoulders, & learn to communicate with others. I love meeting new people of all kinds, & have friends that are gay, but, never have they flaunted it in my face, & neither have I tried to force my Christian beliefs on them. We live, & let live, as the old saying goes. Just because a person has a higher level of education than another person does NOT make them better than others. I’m 66, & have found that the old Golden Rule really works. Treat others the way you want to be treated, & usually they respond in kind.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
