Way #3 sounds like a middleware between frontend and backend. Is it a little bit complicated, comparing with the frontend-alone, or backend-alone methods?
For example, when developing with Angular, rxjs.Observable.forkJoin() works in the similar way, i.e., sends requests and waits for all the responses, without header composing and splitting operation.
